This was trending on TikTok in 2021— to recreate the Adult Swim commercial interludes where [AS] was hidden in a video. I took this trend and made it more political. The option to “hide” ones ethnicity is a unique one, and one I wish I didn’t have to think about. I’ve unfortunately known all my life that there are many places and spaces, I should hide who I am.
